NBC announced today that The Carmichael Show has been renewed for a third season. After a delay due to negotiations around the number of episodes, the network has picked up 13 episodes of the comedy for the 2016-2017 season. Season 2, which airs its finale on May 29, also got 13 episodes.
While ratings for The Carmichael Show have been modest, it has continued to garner high critical acclaim in its second season. Today's renewal makes it only the second NBC comedy returning next season - the other being Superstore.

Now I get it.. this is awonderful show show.Great overall messages Should have kept Crowded too Although Crowded isn't my favorite.

I love love this show. Kept me laughing. Please do not cancel this show. I'm glad it's being picked up for a 3rd season.

Love this show....it's well written and has comedy that makes you laugh and think...I also think the topics and discussions portrayed on the show are realistic of ones that everyday families really have...it doesn't tell you what to think in the end it just presents multiple points of view.

Love this show!! My favourite comedy, it makes you think and laugh one helluva lot. The writing and familial interplay is rooted in truth. It is truly exceptional!

Just don't get it.. this is a horrible show. WAY TOO 'preachy" overall. Should have kept Crowded and dumped this. Although Crowded isn't stunning either.
