Season 2 ordered for the new medical drama.

CBS announced today that Code Black has been renewed for a second season. The freshman medical drama was a modest performer for the network during its first season, though its ratings showed impressive consistency deep into the season.
Look for Season 2 of Code Black to premiere this fall as part of CBS' 2016-2017 lineup.

Glad to see this. Don't know why all the hand-wringing by CBS on this one. Its far and away the best of the 2015-16 rookie shows. Needs time to develop, but all the elements are there for an outstanding series.
