The competition gets two new coaches.
May 17, 2016
With the release of its 2016-2017 schedule, NBC has confirmed that The Voice will be back for an 11th season in the fall. The singing competition continues to be a strong performer for the network after five years on the air.
When the show returns, two new coaches will be joining the panel. Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will replace the departing Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera. Cyrus and Keys join veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton in the big red chairs, making it the first time two female coaches have been on the panel at the same time.

*YAWN* These singing reality shows are so monotonous and boring. Yes, most of them can sing, but who cares? Just have them get a recording contract the same way it was done years and years ago...by recording a demo and sending it to different music companies. Or by singing at small venues and getting "their big break".

Can you name one Voice champion that is a huge success? If this show is not producing the next Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood, they should just give up like AI.

I'm glad this is renewed... it lowers the chances of DVR conflicts with I can just wholly ignore NBC on a weeknight due to their shitty programming.
