The workplace comedy will return for 2017-2018.
February 14, 2017
NBC announced today that Superstore has been renewed for a third season. The comedy is currently in the midst of its sophomore run, where it has been continuing its consistent performance - making its return next season an easy decision for the network.
Superstore, which follows the antics of a diverse group of employees at a big-box mega store, premiered as a mid-season entry in late 2015 and quickly established itself as a solid entry in NBC's comedy lineup. Its smart writing and witty humor resonated with audiences and garnered acclaim from critics.
The peacock network rewarded the show with a move to its regular fall lineup for Season 2, where it is currently airing a full 22-episode season, up from the 11 episodes it aired in Season 1. Today's Season 3 renewal keeps its momentum going for 2017-2018 with another 22-episode order.

As David Spade would say, I liked this show the first time I saw it, when it was called The Office. Same characters, same storylines, different setting.

Kinda surprised it's renewed. Maybe it's because I never worked in a retail store, but I quickly gave up after the first episode.

I didn't put much stock in this show so I never even checked it out. I recorded the Olympics episode, which was the 1st time I became aware of Superstore, but I needed the space so I deleted it. With all the positive comments, I guess I will give it a try after all. Thanks for all the feedback.

If you've ever worked any type of retail, this show is a funny reminder of how crappie a retail job can be. Annoying customer at times, crap pay, when on earth is my half hour lunch break, holidays, etc. I laugh every episode

Yes!! Wasn't sure this one would make the cut but I'm glad it did. It is really funny and I can relate to some of it working retail though my store is way smaller. Some characters even remind me of my coworkers which just makes it even better.
