It is being reported that Superstore will be coming to an end after its current season. The sad news comes midway through Season 6, which saw star America Ferrera depart the show in episode 2.
The series, which follows the antics of a diverse group of employees at a big-box mega store, has had a successful run on NBC since its 2015 premiere. The show has ranked as one of the network's top comedies for most of its run, and recently surpassed the 100-episode milestone. Its sharp writing and witty humor consistently resonated with audiences and critics alike.
The final 11 episodes of Superstore will begin airing on January 14 in a new time slot at 8:30pm.

I see it as this. At least it's Ending and NOT Canceled. It's a whole other story if it's Canceled. It's getting a proper Goodbye.

I can see NBC being on the fence with this show and using a major character as a reason to end it. Like some one said it's the office after Michael left. It could be great, but it most likely won't gain viewers after 6 seasons. While this might be early, better to do it now and give the show closure.

Should have kept Michael Bunin (Jeff) on. He was hysterical.

Another one bites the cancellation morons! Some love it some hate it but it was still a funny show. And we can all use a little funny in today's world. Be nice to each other no matter your opinion!

Gee Harold. Thanks for the lesson in how shows work. You have a keen sense of the obvious. That being said, the show sucked without Amerca. No one said they killed her off. They said they killed a storyline.

Yeah i'm surprised they didin't move it to peacock for at least a season since they did it with AP Bio

America Ferrara left the show on her own. They didn't write her out, everyone. It was a good show, but as good shows progress, they sometimes lose a little of their original sparkle. This one didn't lose much, though. It was still a lot of fun, and I'll miss it.

I wish we could cancel NBC instead. This is the only show I can stomach on that waste of airwaves.
