The Marvel cable series will return for Season 2.

FX announced today that Legion has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes two weeks ahead of the freshman drama's first-season finale, which will cap a well-received debut outing that garnered critical acclaim and solid viewership.
Legion is one of the latest Marvel Comics-based entries on television and the first on a cable network after already-having found success with series on both broadcast TV and Netflix. Legion follows a man diagnosed with schizophrenia who comes to realize that the voices he hears and the visions he sees are the result of him actually being a mutant. Now working with a team of specialists, he is able to explore an extraordinary new world of possibilities.
Look for Season 2 of Legion in 2018.

For those of you that quit after episode 6, give episode 7 a chance. It was the best of the season so far. I almost quit after 6 as well, but am so glad I didn't. Not giving any spoilers, but it finally linked a direction that any comic book fan will go crazy for. Can't wait for the finale later this week.

I really wanted to like this series. It started off fast paced with a nicely defined direction, but it's totally lost on me now. I watched the first 6 episodes, so I think I gave it a fair chance.
I can see why it has been renewed, and why people like it so much, but I fear it will go downhill quickly, although I really hope not.

I'm only a couple of episodes in, but this show is amazing. It's smart, beautiful, interesting and well-acted. I can't wait to see what happens next.

This is really good news.
A complex series. The first episode was a lot to take in and figure out what was going on. Nearly dropped it but it is becoming one of my favorite shows on TV at the moment.
Hope it comes out on Blu-ray.
