The new comedy will return for a second season.
March 23, 2017
CBS announced today that Man With A Plan has been renewed for a second season. The freshman comedy, which premiered last fall, stars Matt LeBlanc in his first return to network television since his career-making turn as Joey Tribbiani on Friends and its subsequent spin-off Joey. The series is off to a solid start in its debut run, where it has established itself as a reliable performer on Monday nights.
Man With A Plan stars LeBlanc as a married man with three young children. His work as a contractor has seen his wife taking on most of the child-rearing responsibilities, but when she decides to go back to work, he has to adjust to his new role as a stay-at-home dad.
Look for Season 2 to premiere as part of the network's 2017-2018 lineup this fall.

This and Kevin Can Wait both have unrealistic wives. In fact they should have switched wives before both shows aired. A fatty like Kevin James shouldn't get an attractive wife like he did, and is better suited with the Delta Burke looking monster they paired up LeBlanc with.

... I still think this is just "Joey" married with (apparently never present) kids.

Great show, but it took some time to adjust to the actors in roles other than the ones that originally made them famous. (Especially Lisa Snyder) I like it much more now than when it first aired.

Yay! I like this show a lot. Good to hear it's coming back.
