No Season 3 for the spin-off drama.
May 14, 2017
It is being reported tonight that CBS has cancelled Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders after two seasons. The news comes just days ahead of the show's now-series finale on May 17.
The procedural drama premiered last year, where it was a decent performer as a mid-season entry on Wednesday nights. Season 2 told a different story though, as its ratings slipped low enough not to warrant a pickup for 2017-2018.
Beyond Borders is the second spin-off in the Criminal Minds franchise, and while it fared better than 2011's Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, it still didn't do much to follow in the footsteps of the original series, which was recently renewed for Season 13.

Seriously bummed. A good show with quality actors! Enjoyed the characters. Sure hope it doesn't end with a cliffhanger!!!!

The second season was better than the first and had developed into a decent show.

I like this show. But this is twice now they are doing a spin-off of Criminal Minds and just can't keep audience interest for too long. Could it be better with different actors maybe? Or maybe they are just missing the hook that keeps watchers coming back. I thought a great spin-off might be possible when Criminal Minds did the "Nelson's Sparrow episode with Rossi & Gideon as young FBI agents when they were first developing "profiling". That was an excellent episode with good actors. It could have made a great spin-off idea.

UGH Again a decent show gets the axe. More then likely to make room for a stupid reality show.
