Netflix axes its second original in as many weeks.

Netflix announced today that Sense8 has been cancelled after its second season. The move comes just one week after the streaming service axed Baz Luhrman's The Get Down after its freshman run, seeing both shows join a relatively short list of cancelled Netflix originals.
Created by The Wachowskis, Sense8 was a sci-fi drama that followed eight people from different cities around the world who became linked mentally and emotionally by an advanced evolutionary technology. Known as Sensates, they were recruited and brought together by a mysterious man named Jonas, but were also pursued by adversarial agents.

I am so glad that Netflix is giving this a 2 hour finale. I think this show at least deserved this much. Reminds me ofNoah's Arc back in the day

On second thought, maybe this show SHOULD shop to Hulu. I'd watch a season 3, actually.

Great concept, but the plot was ehh... I totally understand why this show was cancelled.

After a compelling firs season and an excruciatingly long hiatus, the show got BORING. Too many agendas not enough action,
"COME ON VAN DAM, KICK SOME BUTT!"

This is a thought, how about Hulu pick up Sense8. It would do just as well on their network. The only difference is that Hulu sometimes releases episodes weekly unlike Netflix the entire season at one time. Seriously someone pick this up for season 3, even if they conclude it, at least we would having an ending.

Wow heated debate, power to fat fags, morons and bigots everywhere, there is room for all of us. Not surprised this series was cancelled, no momentum, cant expect people to wait forever for a second season and have it be more of the same. Too much focus on the tranny (no surprise!) and Lito's story arc was shallow and looking a little too contrite. Will miss Bae, Miguel, Brian and Max. 'Conservatard' love it will have to use it :P

.. unfortunately.. too many are just born stupid...... Doesn't matter if you're gay, straight, fat, thin... it's stupidity and hubris that will inevitably kill us all.
