Netflix announced this morning that Dear White People has been renewed for a second season. The freshman comedy, which is based on Justin Simien's acclaimed indie film of the same name, premiered in April with 10 episodes that have received high praise by both audiences and critics.
Picking up where the 2014 film left off, the series offers a satirized take on "post-racial" America, following a diverse group of students of color as they navigate a predominantly-white Ivy League college that tends to brush off racial tension.
The streaming service has ordered another 10 episodes for Season 2 of Dear White People, with production due to start later this year for a likely return in 2018.

Don't confuse the two lindas. My comment was the first one only. This show is racist. No matter what you black ppl or black people loving whites say. All you white people are self hating and racist against your own kind. And yes this country as well as Europe are being destroyed by invaders. Without whites, you're all doomed. Segregation. I've never seen the show,but I understand that a lot of people like it,so I'm fine with it getting a second season.

IMSC, I'm not really a racist, and neither is the premise of the show.Of course not everyone is for "diversity", and I'm not one, so who cares? I am who I am and I am sure I'll find a place to go.

This is racist bullshit. Has it ever occurred to these idiots that maybe white people want to live with only white people? Maybe black people only want to live with black people? Maybe not everyone is for "diversity". Nobody is holding a gun to black people's heads forcing them to live with us white people. They're infesting MY ancestors home (Germany, France, England, etc) but they complain about white people not treating them fairly. You can't just expect some people to accept you, no matter how stupid you think they are for hating you for the color of your skin. If you want acceptance with all white people, you're shit outta luck. Best bet is to go live amongst other black people. I'd get out of white hating America and go to a white only country, but they're getting rare to come by. That being said, this show is a waste of time. Keep crying black people.. Not everyone is going to accept you. And I also would like a Dear Black People show. That would be FAIR.

As a white person, that grew up in an urban area, and believes in 100% equality, This show hit the nail on the head.
People that don't watch this series based on that title alone is why this show needs to be watched by your racist asses. I lol'd at so many points. White people have no clue saying "my such n such is black" makes you sound even more racist. i'm def looking forward to season 2
