The sci-fi drama will end after Season 5.
September 1, 2017
Ahead of tonight's third-season finale of Killjoys, Syfy has announced that the space drama has been renewed for seasons 4 and 5. There is a caveat though, and it is that those two seasons will act as final chapters to end the series.
The Canadian-based show, which follows interplanetary bounty hunters chasing fugitives throughout a distant planetary system on the brink of a bloody class war, will have a total of 20 more episodes before it signs off for good. The advanced notice gives producers a chance to end the story on their own terms, which is always preferable to facing a sudden cancellation.
Look for Season 4 of Killjoys to premiere in 2018, with the fifth and final season on target for 2019.

Despite any other opinions, I greatly appreciate it when the powers that be respect the viewers enough to allow time for a proper conclusion. I wish more shows had this luxury.

Another brain fart from the idiots who brought you Sharlnado 1 - 5. This show is just dumb.

Season 1 was amazing, Season 2 was ok, Season 3 is unwatchable and I bailed after the 3rd episode. They should not waste the money on 4 and 5.

It's been OK, but I get the feeling the producers are making it up as they go along. It's a long, long way from the straightforward action adventure bounty hunter show of the first season.
Maybe with a planned 20 episodes to go they will at least make it consistent.

I dont watch it anymore , i've decieded to jump ship 3-4 epi ago. When you watch a show and you look at your watch every 5 minutes to see when it will end , it's time to quick watching.
I never had this problem with Dark matter , on the contrary with Dark matter i was often telling myself : awww man it's over already

After last night's horrible final I am done with this show & the SyFy Channel. Johnny was the only good character. The "war" was a joke. The humans were so stupid I was cheering for the Hummel.

Dark Matter deserves this deal too. I love both shows. They didn't have to kill one to let the other end properly.
