The comedy will return in 2018.
October 19, 2017
FX announced today that Better Things has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes halfway through the comedy's sophomore run, which is so far continuing to garner critical acclaim and draw the same solid viewership numbers as it did in Season 1.
Created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K., the series stars Adlon as a divorced actress raising her three daughters in Los Angeles. Adlon directed all Season 2 episodes of the show and was nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category.
Look for Season 3 of Better Things in 2018.

This is a brilliant show. The first comedy series I've enjoyed in several years. I hope she can renew it and that being associated with the tainted Louis CK will not keep her from renewing it.

"Created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K...." uhoh! Maybe season 3 isn't a lock after all.

I loved last season, but this season is not working for me. The writers can do a lot better!

This DRAMA (comedies need jokes) has terrible children actors. Too much whining to try and create drama. Sometimes life is bad. This show is in a complaint spiral. All they do is complain which makes them only see bad, so they complain about it, which only causes them to see bad.
Give me a story line that isn't everything sucks and maybe I can agree that some things do suck.

Great. Now we get to see more from this grumpy delusional Oompa Loompa make believing that in a non parallel universe there are a bunch of hot single men willing to deal with her shitty attitude and personality. the first season wasn't so bad and i gave it a try because of Louis C.K. but meh.

Amazing. This is quite possibly one of the worst "sitcoms" to ever air. There's not a single shred of humor in it.
