The comedic horror returns this fall.

IFC announced today that Stan Against Evil has been renewed for a third season. The horror-comedy wrapped its sophomore run in November, garnering fairly consistent viewership over its eight episodes. Per the cable network, the series has grown its fan base since its first season in 2016.
Created by Dana Gould, Stan Against Evil stars John C. McGinley as the disgruntled former sheriff of a small New England town who teams up with the tough new sheriff to fight a plague of unleashed demons that are haunting the town, which happens to be built on the site of a massive 17th century witch burning.
Look for Season 3 of Stan Against Evil in the fall of 2018.

Good to hear, this show is fun and the cast is a good group. It's shot on the cheap and shows it, may not be for everybody, but it's sly and sinister entertainment. I was worried for IFC since it has been dropping shows recently (CBB is done, Maron is done, Portlandia will be done,) but Brockmire is apparently a hit and a lot of Funny or Die projects are still brewing, so hopefully there's enough support here to keep projects like Stan going. Ideally, Stan will last long enough to know when it's on its final season and will have a means to wrap up.

This is a fun and fast show. You get two episodes each night too. This is not a bruce Campbell show. This is quite different but also very tongue in cheek funny. Congrats on season 3!.

Season one was good.. season two I messed with and made worse.. apparently I didn't make it bad enough. Thought I had. Remind me to really mess up season 3.
