The drama will return for a second season.
October 15, 2018
FX has picked up Australian drama Mr Inbetween for Season 2. The good news comes on the heels of a successful freshman run that aired six episodes over the course of just three weeks.
Reception was overall positive across the board, with both audiences and critics singing its praises. Across the cable network's linear and non-linear platforms, the series averaged over 2 million viewers.
Mr Inbetween follows Ray Shoesmith, a divorced father with anger issues. He does his best to raise his daughter while having a personal life, all while working as a criminal-for-hire.
Look for Season 2 in 2019.

Liking this show a lot. Aussie shows are great (Irish shows tend to be great too) -- It's a GOOD trend if networks start picking up some great foreign shows for the US. I would love to see Utopia (AU) or Wellington Paranormal in the US. Rosehaven is already airing on IFC.

I love this show! There are a few times when it's a little difficult to understand what they are saying due to their accents and slang but it doesn't detract from the overall quality of the show. My only complaint is (and I hope they fix it next season) the season was way too short at only 6 episodes.

Very glad to hear this. Great show, it's a violent version of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
