The cable dramedy will continue in 2021.
May 26, 2020
FX announced today that Mr Inbetween has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes half a year after the Australian crime dramedy aired its sophomore run, which once again drew high praise from both audiences and critics.
Created and written by Scott Ryan, who also stars, Mr Inbetween follows Ray Shoesmith, a divorced father with anger issues. He does his best to raise his daughter while having a personal life, all while working as a criminal-for-hire.
Look for Season 3 in 2021.

The lack of creativity charge is a weird one. Sure Mr Inbetween (Scott Ryan) has ripped off from all the shows that came before in the same way all shows do, but it seems pretty unique to me in comparison to almost anything else. I think it’s more you either like it or you don’t. It isn’t creativity or realism. It is a solid comedy. I grant you it is perverse. If it wasn’t so damn funny I might not like it either. It’s either funny or not to you.

...and this show has no creativity!
