The Australian dramedy returns for its final run in May.

FX announced today that Mr Inbetween will be coming to an end after its upcoming third season. The news comes nearly a year after the Australian crime dramedy was renewed for Season 3, with a May premiere date now set for its final run.
Created and written by Scott Ryan, who also stars, Mr Inbetween follows Ray Shoesmith, a divorced father with anger issues. He does his best to raise his daughter while having a personal life, all while working as a criminal-for-hire.
The third and final season of Mr Inbetween premieres on Tuesday, May 25 at 10:00pm.

Well I just watched the last episode and I was forewarned by the last comment. Strange ending indeed for a strange show. A funny esoteric louie loogie. This series was sprung out of a 2005 (?) Australian movie which was also a Scott Ryan production - maybe he does have 9 lives. Anyways, I hope Ryan is more divorced from his character than Louis CK wasn't. He hit his target surprisingly well, so I hope it was on talent alone. I bemoan the constant use of the f word which has spread like wildfire among tv shows, public use, and our childrens' vocabulary. This show gets an F for that. Anybody that thinks it makes anything better is wrong and deprived. You can be every bit as cool without it, even in decadent shows like this. Nevertheless, an entertaining show.

I really like this show and don't mind when they end them while they're still good. That way they don't become a parody of themselves.

Great show. I will miss it. Hope Ray can patch things up with Ally and have a "happily ever after" with her and his daughter

Great show !!! Am looking forward to season 3. Hope they have some form of an ending for Ray and his daughter. She deserves it, even if he doesn't. Maybe.
