The Canadian comedy will say good-bye in 2020.
March 21, 2019
It was announced today that Schitt's Creek has been renewed for Season 6. The news is bittersweet though, as it was also confirmed that the upcoming season will end the comedy's run. A message from creators Dan and Eugene Levy was posted on the show's official Twitter account this morning, expressing their gratitude for six seasons on the air.
Co-created by Eugene Levy and his son Dan, the series follows a formerly-wealthy couple who are forced to rebuild their lives using their only remaining asset of a small town they purchased in the 1990s as a joke. The Canadian-produced series airs on CBC up north and on Pop for US audiences.
Look for the final season of Schitt's Creek in 2020.

Love the show but this past season has been very slow and nothing like the first two seasons that had more comedy. Upside is I will watch any show with Daniel Levy, he is awesome!

Great and sad news. I have loved this show from the beginning and watched every single episode. I will miss it a lot. But every story has a beginning a middle and and end.

Excellent show! Really sad to see it go, but happy that it gets a real ending...

This is a good show, but it had pretty much run its course. Last season was kinda getting weak. Happy they can wrap it up in S6.
