July 21, 2019
At Comic-Con this weekend it was revealed that Doom Patrol has been picked up for a second season on DC Universe. The announcement included word of a deal to also bring the show to HBO Max, with the show's first season being released on the streaming service when it launches next spring.
Based on the DC Comics characters, the drama follows a team of outcast heroes led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief. The group of freaks with superpowers includes Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane. Each of them previously suffered a terrible accident that not only left them scarred for life, but also with superhuman abilities.
Look for Season 2 of Doom Patrol in 2020.

Something bothered me though, made me fast-forward often. What was it?
Oh it was the long-winded dialogue. Some scenes just went on and on, tiresomely talking and blathering.
Tighten it up already!
Did not know anything about this series when I started watching.
But this is an incredibly amazing show that goes way deeper then one would expect from a show like this. Truly a great show, well deserving of more seasons.
