As part of this weekend's DC Fandome virtual convention, HBO Max announced that Doom Patrol has been picked up for Season 4. The good news comes three weeks after the superhero drama kicked off its third season run.

The series made HBO Max its exclusive home starting with Season 3. It originally launched on the DC Universe subscription service in early 2019 but was only solely there for one season. Season 2 aired across both platforms.

Based on DC Comics characters, Doom Patrol follows a team of outcast heroes led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief. The group of freaks with superpowers includes Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane. Each of them previously suffered a terrible accident that not only left them scarred for life, but also with superhuman abilities.

Look for Season 4 of Doom Patrol in 2022.
