VH1 announced today that RuPaul's Drag Race has been picked up for a 12th season. The good news comes three months following the crowning of the most-recent winner of the veteran reality competition.
The award-winning series has had an impressive run over the last decade. At nearly 150 total episodes, it has become a fixture in pop culture as growing numbers of viewers continue to tune in. Quality-wise, the show has remained at the top of its game as well. Just last month, it scored a record 14 Emmy nominations, besting its previous total of 12.
Hosted by drag icon RuPaul, Drag Race sees contestants participate in various challenges, with critiques by a panel of judges while trying to be the last one standing - and named America's Next Drag Superstar.
Look for Season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2020.

I can give RuPaul the credit for being around before her or his schtick was fashionable, trendy. She or he is a grande dame of weird for sure. If you live long enough ... All of us now has.

Shoving multiple men with severe mental illnesses, in the faces of Americans is such a great idea! Lets make sodomy AND transvestites NORMAL by continuing a show that only .0000002% of the population watch! Sounds like a GREAT idea!! SO glad I cancelled cable!!!
P.S......What is VH1?

Because, you know, this show makes sooooooo much more money for the network than, say, anything interesting.
