MTV announced today that RuPaul's Drag Race has been renewed for a 16th season. The news comes on the heels of the 'Drag Race' franchise picking up nine Emmy Award nominations, the most for any reality competition series this year. Its post-show companion series 'Untucked' will also be back.
On the air since 2009, the award-winning series has continued to be a strong performer for the network. The show's 15th season saw it surpass the 200-episode milestone.
Hosted by the titular drag icon, RuPaul's Drag Race sees contestants participate in various challenges, with critiques by a panel of judges, while trying to be the last one standing - and named America's Next Drag Superstar.
Look for Season 16 in early 2024.

I love drag racing, used to go to the races in Santa Cruz where a jet car set a billboard on fire. Love the smell of racing fuel, dragsters, funny cars and the gnarly blow ups.

Very confusing show. I watch several seasons and didn't see a single racecar.
