...problem with race is always makes the news when it's interracial but when it's intraracial (within a race), the media seems ill-equipped to address. Crazy Rich Asians is a prime example. CRA is intraracially discriminatory and yet, it is conveniently overlooked. Understood, it's-only-a-movie, but you'd have to ignorant to misunderstand that the message is based in truth.

Ted . our society on the left is obsessed with race. Which does not exist. We are all one race with different skin colors. However people of a darker skin color in the past and jews were not treated equally but we have a society NOW where skin color is in fact not that important to most people. How you act is more important to most. BUT we have a group of people who constantly assert that everything is race based. Every decision is race based. this is all false narrative and if you are raised here you have little in common with most other places.

We couldn't have this over here we don't have an African British category or even African English.
I guess you could be born in Africa be white go to America and all your future generations may be white but they would be African Americans

Dumb name for a show imo. But it is funny and worth watching,

I predict, someday, when we are all dead, there could be shows called The All Black Roller Skating Show and The All White Tetherball Show and no one will pay much attention except to note that they’re each (just) yet another stupid idea for a show. No one will think they’re racist or bad other than being just stupid. In other words, no one will really care. And if someone doesn’t like another because of their whatever race, little attention will even be paid to that beyond the observation that the person is pretty damn stupid. For now, while this show doesn’t seem like a particularly good idea, I don’t care one way or another and I never see HBO anyway.

no one is saying the show isn't good. you're missing the point... but you did mention something about ignorance.

Glad there is a show where women of color are both in front of and behind the camera writing, directing and producing a legitimately well done show.
