More episodes ordered for the new mystery drama.
October 25, 2019
The CW has topped up the rookie run of Nancy Drew, adding an additional nine episodes to its original order of 13. That gives the mystery drama a total of 22 episodes for a full first season.
The series premiered earlier this month and has been garnering so-so ratings and reviews in the early goings. It is the latest iteration of a televised version of the mystery book series that originated in the 1930s.
Nancy Drew is led by newcomer Kennedy McMann, who plays the 18-year-old titular detective. In the series, the recent high school grad is looking forward to heading off to college, but her plans are put on hold when she is one of the witnesses - and prime suspects - of a murder in her town. As Nancy investigates the case herself, the truth about what happened begins to unravel.

Still a PCPOS (politically correct piece of s**t). This new version is outstanding example of PCPOS

So this show isn't for some people. To those some people, let the other people who actually enjoy it, enjoy it. Change your channel away from CW because CW has it's own certain audience and if that isn't you then why even come here to comment? That being said I am looking forward to seeing this mystery play out and if it's good enough maybe we'll get another season. Fingers Crossed

Typical CW stuff.. Not good enough for CBS or Warner Brothers directly so they throw it on their "garbage" network -- where it belongs if it MUST air. Why it must air.. no clue. The decision makers at the CW are really horrible at their jobs.

I guess I can watch it now that I know it will stick around for the year. Thanks for the info in the reviews so I know to not give up on it. I'll start it as soon as I finish the show I'm watching.

Getting better. Not giving up on it yet. Thank's CW. Unlike ABC or CBS you actually keep shows and give them a chance to get better.
