The mystery drama will conclude its run in 2023.
October 26, 2022
It is being reported that the upcoming fourth season of Nancy Drew will be its last. While there was no word on the mystery drama ending when it was picked up for Season 4 in March, today's news comes as no surprise. Nexstar Media Group has recently acquired The CW network, which has resulted in most of its scripted originals ending or being cancelled.
Premiering in 2019, Nancy Drew is the latest televised iteration of the mystery book series that originated in the 1930s. It follows the titular teenaged detective, whose plans to go to college are put on hold when she is one of the witnesses - and prime suspects - of a murder in her town. After investigating the case herself, the truth about what happened begins to unravel and new mysteries are unearthed.
Look for the fourth and final season of Nancy Drew as a midseason entry during the 2022-2023 season.

First Archie, then Nancy Drew, the CW basically defiled my childhood memories. I stopped watching ND after Season 2 because Season 3 went from a murder mystery to just supernatural, which is like....the character is a DETECTIVE!! What are you even doing?!
Stopped watching it. Gotta give props to the show for their casting though, because the leads are very competent and good looking people. I want to see the actress playing Nancy Drew, Kennedy McMann, in other better stuff.

I really enjoyed the first two seasons. Season three was unwatchable. They went full throttle with their social justice propaganda. I don't care about anyone's politics, I just don't want it fed to me in my programming.

I am not surprised that they cancelled it Because CW is just canceling shows left to right. I liked this show.

I wish another network would pick it up. They could start a brand new mystery...Come on someone, do your job and get this show another season on a better platform!

Reality Shows

It's cheaper to produce crap unscripted reality shows and that has been the way many networks have been going over the years. I do not support reality shows and wish people would stop watching them.

This is stupid. This was one of their most decent shows.
Plus it had Kennedy McMann :)

News to me: "Nexstar Media Group has recently acquired The CW network, which has resulted in most of its scripted originals ending or being cancelled."
So is this how they improve it, piss off all existing customers? So are going to revive it by finishing killing it and then rising it from the dead? The CW model was a disaster so I''m wondering what assets it has worth buying.
