DC Universe announced today that Titans is being brought back for a third season. Currently in the midst of its sophomore run, the drama is the subscription service's first original series in its slowly-growing lineup of scripted superhero fare.
The show follows Robin, who emerges from Gotham's shadow to lead a new group of young superheroes in the fight against villainous foes. He joins forces with Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire to stop a demonic evil that is threatening the world.
Look for Season 2 of Titans in 2020.

Yeah I get the formula.. but it's typically been about the main characters.. original, backstory etc... season 2 of Titans is focusing WAY too much on Deathstroke. I get that its all leading up to Nightwing .. I'm simply not a fan of how they've unpacked it all this season. I love Esi Morales as an actor. However, much like the Joker movie.... DC hasn't figured out how to focus a story on the villain while still keeping it entertaining.

@Corbus I'm not sure if you've been following the formula that DCTV streaming has been using for shows, but none of them have been strictly about crime fighting. So far in both Titans and Doom Patrol has lots of origin and historic episodes. Hate it or like it that's how they've been doing it. That's probably why each episode is about an hour. That's why so far I'm 50-50 on their shows. But the Arrowverse is now taking a complete dump and preparing for a crash and burn the way they're going. Yet another thing Disney will dominate.

MoeB I feel like that is because this is one of those shows where there is a lot of script rewrites going on constantly.

Absolutely loving Season 2, and the backstory with Deathstroke's son provides excellent tension for the season (sorry @Corbus). This show is by far the best superhero show on TV right now. So glad to see a show that doesn't worry about being a SJW showcase like so many other shows. Wow, superheroes can swear and be imperfect...how refreshing to see a show that can truly let it all out and not worry about offending people.

Season 2 has a bit TOO MUCH melodrama.. need to get back to crime fighting. No one gives a shit about Deathstroke's family relations.

I don't know what it is, but for some reason the way these episodes work they are either really good or they really suck. But definitely one of the best Deathstroke's.
