The superhero drama will finish its story later this year.
January 25, 2023
It is being reported that Titans will be coming to an end after its current fourth season. The news comes midway through the drama's now-final run, which is being split into two 6-episode halves. The first half wrapped in December; the final six episodes should follow later this year.
The drama premiered in 2018 as the first original series on the DC Universe subscription service, airing there for two seasons before moving to HBO Max in 2021.
Titans follows Robin, who emerges from Gotham's shadow to lead a new group of young superheroes in the fight against villainous foes. He joins forces with Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire to stop a demonic evil that is threatening the world.

Another miss by the DCU. Titans should've been don't mis television. Titans started out okay, but like most of the DCU stuff, it came up short. I hate when rebooting happens, but as a fan of the superhero genre, I wished that the DCU rebooted years ago.

Just another example of HBO/Discovery killing off their old stuff to save pennies and pay off their debt.

F&*K James Gunn. All I gotta say.

I think Gunn said this decision was made before he came on. Who knows whether it's completely true or not though.

I'm beginning to think that this is the work of James Gunn. Clearing out all the old shows even vaguely associated with the DCU, to try to make the whole mess more cohesive, like the MCU. While I really like Titans, the DC Universe has been a real hodgepodge of random shows all over the place, with different actors playing the same roles at the same time and storylines that can actually contradict one another... and it all being conveniently written off to the multiverse. Now that James Gunn has been tasked with trying to reign it all in and make some sense out of it, perhaps he's decided that a clean sweep might be the only way to do that. That said, I've gotta admit that this cancellation, regardless as to the reason why its happened, totally blows. Titans has been one of the best comic book offerings on tv since it premiered.

I called this one. All superhero shows on wb and here are getting axed. Many shows . If not for the last of us , I would be gone too... Netflix and prime still deliver good shows , apple , starz , showtime. Paamount plus has tar trek.

This sucks, but I saw it coming. Read my comment in the Doom Patrol comments. If not for the Sunday night shows like The Last of Us and John Oliver, I would probably do what I do with Starz and Showtime. Add the channel for a month. Watch all the shows. Dump the channel for 6 months to a year. Repeat. Thanks again Warner/Discovery. Fuck the customers, make that money!!!

HBO Max starts cancelling all of their shows and removing stuff from their library, and then has the balls to email me that they’re upping the price another dollar.
They’re lucky The Last of Us is worth paying for.
