No Season 4 for the "Anne of Green Gables" reboot.

Word is out that Anne with an E has been cancelled after three seasons. Creator Moira Walley-Beckett broke the news to her followers on social media, with the news coming the day after the drama aired its now-series finale on CBC in Canada. The show's final season will premiere for stateside viewers January 3 on Netflix.
Adapted from the classic 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables, Anne with an E follows a young orphan girl who has spent an abusive childhood in orphanages. When she is accidentally sent to live with an aging brother and sister in Prince Edward Island, the 13-year-old's unique spirit and wondrous imagination have a transforming impact on their lives and the lives of the residents in the small town where they live.

I'm sure L.M Montgomery would have zero problem with a brilliant show like this using her writings as the inspiration.

Glad its gone. This was a smoldering trash heap! I've read the books and seen the original series. This version probably had L.M Montgomery rolling in her grave.

This was a darker more racist version of the time loved classic of Anne, wow was dark the way they treated black and indians was like what this isnt the level of good happy times I expected. Not surprised one bit. Great acting horrible writers.

This is one show I’m really not sad to see go. It just did not live up to the expectations that I had for it and was actually surprised it went as far as it did.

I stumbled onto the first episode and enjoyed it. Amybeth McNulty just grabs your heart. But while I always meant to watch more episodes I just never found the time. There's just too much "must watch" competition these days for a quiet drama such as this.

My daughters & I LOVE this show!! We are counting down the days till season 3-Netflix HOW COULD YOU!!??!! Please save this wonderful show with such a fresh take on such a beloved classic.

Unbelievable..... Good cast , good show and bad form to cancel it ...we should at least get a season 4 ... Its pathetic there is only like 10 episodes, should have made it longer ....

So sad this show is ending!! This is one of me favorites on Netflix. It's so hard to find a quality, feel good show with substance now a days... Anne with an E is definitely that!
