Fox announced today that Beat Shazam has been picked up for Season 4. The music-based game show has continued to be a solid performer for the network during the summer months.
Hosted by Jamie Foxx, Beat Shazam sees teams of two face off against the clock - and each another - in an attempt to identify some of the most well-known hit songs of all time across a wide variety of genres. The team with the highest score at the end moves on to face Shazam, the world's most popular song identification app, for a chance at taking home a cash prize.
Look for Season 4 in late spring or early summer of 2020, with Foxx returning as host. Foxx's daughter Corinne, who joined as the show's DJ in Season 2, will also be back.
