Fox announced today that Beat Shazam is coming back for an eighth season. The music-based game show will return sometime in 2025 or 2026 but a release window has not yet been determined by the network. New seasons have typically been premiering in May of each year, so a return in the coming weeks is not out of the question.
The show sees teams of two face off against the clock - and each another - in an attempt to identify some of the most well-known hit songs of all time across a wide variety of genres. The team with the highest score at the end moves on to face Shazam, the world's most popular song identification app, for a chance at taking home a cash prize.

Beat Shazam Season 8 will be coming back and releasing on Wednesday, May 28th from 8pm-9pm. Jamie Foxx and his daughter will continue cohosting the show with new people winning cash and prizes up to $1 million. There will be special episodes with daddy daughter time, heroes, brothers showdown, military firefighters, & Million dollar mommas! This will be epic!
Looking forward to the release of the new season this month!
