The musical game show returns in May.

Fox announced today that Beat Shazam is coming back for a sixth season. The music-based game show has continued to be a solid performer for the network during the summer months.
Hosted by Jamie Foxx, Beat Shazam sees teams of two face off against the clock - and each another - in an attempt to identify some of the most well-known hit songs of all time across a wide variety of genres. The team with the highest score at the end moves on to face Shazam, the world's most popular song identification app, for a chance at taking home a cash prize.
Season 6 of Beat Shazam premieres on Tuesday, May 23, with Foxx returning as host along with his daughter Corinne, who will be back as the resident DJ.

Hopefully they bring back the app game to play along with otherwise the show just isn't as fun
