ABC announced today that The Good Doctor has been picked up for a fourth season. The medical drama has been continuing its strong performance in Season 3, ranking as one of the network's most-watched and highest-rated series. A Monday night staple, the show regularly bests its competition week in and week out.
The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome who leaves his quiet country life behind to join the surgical unit at a renowned hospital in San Jose, California. Alone in his new surroundings and not able to form a personal connection with his peers, Dr. Murphy puts his extraordinary medical gifts to use in order to save lives and challenge his skeptical colleagues.
Look for Season 4 of The Good Doctor to premiere in the fall as part of ABC's 2020-2021 schedule.

with the way it ended, have to wonder who will be back next season leaving room for 3 of the actors to leave....
@Malvaudo : I'm with you on that, reminds of TBBT and Mario 64, with Sheldon is happy to find his memory card so that he can continue his old game (save is on the cartridge itself), and then saying "you can play with me, I have a 2nd controler" (there's no 2-player mode).
At least you can pretend it's not the official controler ^^
