No Season 2 for the action thriller.

It is being reported that Treadstone has been cancelled by USA Network after one season. The sad news comes five months after the action thriller wrapped its freshman run, leaving its finale on December 19 to serve as its series ender.
Set in the Bourne universe, the series explores the origins of Operation: Treadstone, the CIA black ops program from the hit films, and connects it to present-day special ops around the globe. The show appeared set to run for multiple seasons, but today's cancellation comes as a result of an overall strategy shift at the cable network to focus more on unscripted fare.

@Erin P. that petition is as dead as the show. And not sure if you are the one that gets to set the goal, but 100 people wouldn't even make a difference in an exec even thinking about looking at the petition.

Frankly, I enjoyed the "Bourne" movies, and made a point of watching all of them in the same day, but that was more about three years ago.
I would have happily watched this series, if I had known about it sooner, and I already Tweeted the link to the petition, too.

Hmm, I think it would have been renewed for Season 2 had it not been for corona. It wasn't that great, but it wasn't bad either. If this is getting cancelled, surely Jack Ryan is also getting cancelled....right? Its worse than this one.

I wanted to like this show but it never really grabbed my attention from thr first episode. I watched most of the season but I just couldn't do it anymore.

Agree. USA (network, not the country) has been in constant decline since it peaked a bunch of years ago now. It is quite disposable.

Treadstone was a real disappointment to me, and I had really been looking forward to it. Ditto to almost every comment from the show's main board. I sadly won't miss this one. It took way to much thought for me to follow the storylines that jumped all over. I don't find that enjoyable given there was no real payout for the effort.
