No Season 2 for the action thriller.

It is being reported that Treadstone has been cancelled by USA Network after one season. The sad news comes five months after the action thriller wrapped its freshman run, leaving its finale on December 19 to serve as its series ender.
Set in the Bourne universe, the series explores the origins of Operation: Treadstone, the CIA black ops program from the hit films, and connects it to present-day special ops around the globe. The show appeared set to run for multiple seasons, but today's cancellation comes as a result of an overall strategy shift at the cable network to focus more on unscripted fare.

The cancelation is no surprise to most of those that watched it and wrote about it in another thread. It definitely had it’s moments but moments does not a solid series make.
I have a complaint for ismyshowcancelled,com - many articles are lacking all the links to the other articles about said show. I won’t complain about the first season cast list that will never be extended no matter how outdated. Sidenote for this show, there are two actresses who play Petra. The young hot Petra actress is unlisted.

I was hooked on this show upon seeing the first episode of the first and only season. No subsequent episode was as good and I found myself watching it only for action scenes and didn't care much about the plot. Fight scenes were very well choreographed and looked realistic. But, with many shows that start out well, they just can't match the energy and quality throughout an entire season. I won't miss this but was glad to have enjoyed a few of the episodes.
