It appears that Younger will be coming to an end after its previously-announced seventh season. While there has been no official announcement, co-star Hilary Duff and creator Darren Star have been candid in recent interviews regarding the show's status.
In an interview with Australia's 'The Morning Show' last month, Duff stated that she was looking forward to returning to New York to film the show's last season. And today, TVLine reported that Star told them that his team is unofficially planning Season 7 as its final run.
The half-hour series stars Sutton Foster as Liza, a 40-year-old single mother who pretends to be in her 20's after struggling to get back into the working world. Her lie helps her land a job at a publishing firm, but it also starts to complicate matters in her personal life.
No premiere date for Season 7 of Younger has been set as of yet.

It had a good run and will be fondly remembered.
After awhile the central premise of the show became a bit worn as each new person expressed fake shock at finding out Liza's true age. There was also the contrivance of her love life. But the likeable characters of the show becoming more trusting friends over time still made it worth watching. Let's hope it goes out on a high note.

Well it had a good run. If a series gets to it's 5th season, it's pretty much a success. (In it's own way)

Yes, it's a stretch to image that Sutton was in her 20's, but that was the fun part of the show. It subsequently turned into a very honest portrayal of ageism in the work place - with wit and grace. I'll miss it. The cast was fantastic. And that Persil guy's hot!

I agree with Yeah, Yeah, Yeah....it was never believable. I'm amazed this show lasted 7 seasons on this premise.

Ms Foster is gorgeous.... but NEVER looked as if she were 20-something. The entire premise of this show relies on every other character in the show being a complete and utter moron. I watched part of the initial season.. it was clear I didn't have the right gender parts to be the target demographic this was shooting at. I quickly lost interest. I'm surprise it lasted to 7 seasons. -- Making her what.. 60 pretending to be 15 now???

Has been a very fun show to watch. I think Sutton Foster is a fantastic actress.
