So glad YOUNGER is renewed for a second season! My twentysomething daughter and I watch this show together and we love it! I'm just happy to be able to watch a real show because I'm fed up with scripted, high-drama, shouting matches they call reality TV!

I lost interest after a couple of episodes. Even though I loved "Sex and the City" and like Foster, I must have aged out of this show's demo. It's hard to believe that it's on TVLand. I have to wonder if they are remaking themselves from showing old sitcoms and trying for a younger demo with more edgy comedies.

@bub I agree with you!! I love Sutton Foster but I find it hard to believe that anyone would think she was in her early to mid 20's!! First 2 episodes were cute, then by eppy 3 I got bored and stopped watching. Happy for those who are still enjoying it though.

I love the show YOUNGER, and now that a second season has been ordered, I don't mind investing the time to get involved.
For those of you complaining about a forty year old playing the part of a 26 year old....Get a life, and an imagination. It is called entertainment....Not reality. If the character can continue to fool the characters on the show that she is 26, this is all that is required. I suspect the shows producers in fact wanted someone who would leave the audience going..."I not as foolish as those shallow people who fall for her being 26." And, that is part of the draw.
Besides, I have lived enough life that I can assure you I have met people who can easily pass for being ten or even fifteen years young than they are. Take Chuck Norris as one such example....Who would put him in his 70's?

I just love Sutton Foster, is the Lorelai Gilmore of this generation.
I really enjoy this show eventhough it is pretty hard to believe her as a twentysomthing.
Good call.

Although I might have to say she is obviously older than 26 and that does kill the premise. GREAT job Nick@nite or realizing how to make a show. They grew up. No longer is it the 90's laugh track setcom with lame inuendo and crap story lines. I actually like the style of this show.

Premise is soooo dumb. Sutton Foster looks good for being 40. Very good. And I have nothing against her as an actress. However, there is just NO WAY in hell she looks 22-26, just none. The fact that the characters believe she is younger just makes the entire show fall apart. I watched the first two episodes and just couldn't see how no one second guesses her age. Even with a different hairdo and outfit she still looks late 30s to 40. They should have cast a 23 year old actress to play the 40 year old, it would have been more believable. Not a winner TV Land.
