The cop drama will not return for Season 3.
October 14, 2020
It is being reported that L.A.'s Finest has been cancelled by Spectrum after two seasons. The sad news comes a month after the cop drama released its 13-episode sophomore run.
The series premiered in 2019 as Spectrum's first original series. It was initially commissioned by NBC for a pilot in early 2018, but the network ultimately ended up passing on it. While reviews were ultimately mixed, Spectrum noted a strong audience response after Season 1. Fox is currently airing the show's first season in a move to help fill its Fall lineup in light of a lack of content due to the ongoing pandemic.
Headlined by Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union, L.A.'s Finest acts as an offshoot of the "Bad Boys" movie franchise. Union plays Miami DEA agent Syd Burnett, who leaves her complicated past behind to become a detective for the LAPD. Her new partner Nancy McKenna, played by Alba, is a working mother with just as many skeletons in her closet. While the two women have a hard time seeing eye to eye, they have no problem forming a dynamic duo in order to take down dangerous criminals in Los Angeles.

Gabrielle Union is not only a bad actress, but she will bring a lawsuit against u if you have the nerve to cancel her off of a show haha~ She and her husband have so much money....too bad it can't buy her talent and a better attitude in life.

It's only airing on Fox because of COVID... new shows can't move to production.. this year has seen a LOT of two year old "streaming only" shows make it to network air time - This, Star Trek Discovery, Tell Me A Story... etc...

I tried to give a shot because Bad Boys is decent, but that's Martin and Will have good chemistry. The other part was Jessica Alba, but after I saw the trailer my hopes were lowered, then I saw the first episode. That was enough. I actually didn't know it made a second season. Good for them!

A ripoff of several other bad cop shows with mediocre actors more concerned about their shoes than solving crimes. Thank you for putting this show out of its misery.

It wasn't to bad. It looked like they were going to tie season 3 to bad boys 2

Very disappointed in this cancellation. I been trying to watch this show for 2 years. Now that I am finally able to watch it the show gets cancelled. Very disappointing.

It’s a decent show, we’re recording it off Fox. I doubt Fox will pick it up, it’s averaging a 0.4 rating and 2.4 million viewers, been declining every week.
