The CW announced today that In The Dark has been renewed for a fourth season. The pickup is an early one, as the midseason drama has not yet set a return date for Season 3.

The series follows a flawed, blind young woman named Murphy, whose life takes an unexpected turn when she comes across a friend's lifeless body while walking with her guide dog. But when the body disappears before the police arrive, they are reluctant to believe her story. That leaves Murphy on a quest to find the truth about what really happened to her friend.

Look for Season 3 of In The Dark in the months ahead, with Season 4 likely targeted for mid-2022.
