The drama reboot will return for Season 2.

The CW announced today that Walker has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two episodes into the drama's freshman run. Since its January premiere, the series has so far garnered solid ratings despite mixed reviews.
A reimagining of 1990s drama "Walker, Texas Ranger," the show follows the adventures of widowed father of two Cordell Walker, who has returned home to Austin after being undercover for two years. He now turns his attention to reconnecting with his creative son and his rebellious teenage daughter while tackling other family issues with his ADA brother, perceptive mother, and traditional father.
Along with today's renewal, the network also topped up Season 1 of Walker with an additional five episodes, bringing its total to 18. Look for Season 2 to premiere as part of the 2021-2022 season.

I hope the real Texas Rangers put this show to rest. No crimes to solve, no action. Just a father who can't take care of his kids parents hovering over him all the time. Why was this show made at all "This Is Us" with a Ranger badge. Why sully the name Chuck Norris created? Soon he will find out that his boss had something to do with h the wife murder....

We loved the original Walker. This reboot is terrible. We waited till the middle of the second episode to see if things got better. It’s really nothing more than a politically correct, social justice show. No plot other than the characters crying in their beer. I expected them to get together with a good group hug and a good cry. Walker is a pathetic pansy. Was so disappointed.

I wish they would do some martial arts in the show because that would make it even more interesting.

its an alright show. I watched the old series of Walker Texas Ranger and that was amazing, this is kind of ehh comparied to the old version.

weird to see him in anything but supernatural, but worth watching..
