The re-imagined anthology won't make the move to Paramount+.
February 24, 2021
It looks like The Twilight Zone will not be coming back for a third season. The sad news comes as Paramount+ today announced which series from CBS All Access would be continuing on the new streaming platform.
A modern re-imagining of the original 1959 series created by Rod Serling, the anthology series was a solid performer during its two-season run. Its first episode in 2019 garnered the highest number of Day 1 viewers for an original series on CBS All Access, plus reviews were mostly positive, with fans and critics appreciating its ability to stay true to the essence of the original.

CBS has owned Twilight Zone post Rod Serling. No classic has had more goodwill going for it than Twilight Zone. CBS did not properly respect Twilight Zone and destroyed what it had through the revivals which came up short and all of the previous three (?) were short-lived. I saw some bad episodes and some “ok” ones in the few I watched. The revivals should have been done right with due respect and aired on cbs. Now the latest, although no one cares now, is to air on the Paramount All CBS Abscess squirting service.
