The new drama will return for a second season.
March 2, 2021
The CW announced today that Superman & Lois has been renewed for Season 2. The good news comes exactly one week after the premiere of the comic-based drama, which garnered strong enough numbers to give the network its best night of primetime viewing in two years.
Based on the well-known DC Comics characters, the series offers a different take on the superhero genre. After spending years fighting supervillains and alien invaders, the Man of Steel, aka Clark Kent, and Lois Lane are now dealing with one of their greatest challenges: being working parents in today's society and wondering whether their sons could inherit their father's Kryptonian superpowers. Returning to Smallville to handle some family business, Clark and Lois become reacquainted with Lana Lang, who is now married. Also, Lois' father is looking for Superman to take down a villain or save the day at a moment's notice.
Look for Season 2 of Superman & Lois in 2022.

I don’t care for, really don’t have a storyline......true, it’s only 4 episodes into it but it still hasn’t grabbed my attention yet.

The funny thing is she is married to the main character in Grimm and he had Audition for Superman Returns or Man of Steel.

.... should have cast Shakiri as Lois rather than as the neighbor.

I have always liked Superman. This isn't too bad. However, I do think that Lois could be played by a different actress. I liked the Lois that they had in Smallville.

I never liked Lois Lane in any movie or show that character is in. She always in trouble for Superman can save her. Break her ankle 'Help Superman Save Me"!

@Love_Texas
I'd say that Lois is actually one of the very few good things in this show. Then again, I liked the actress in Grimm (well, except in season 4, but I can't blame her for that, that whole season's storyarc sucked…)

Dear @Love_Teaxs (if that is your real name...haha)
1. You misspelled Texas.
2. So, I need to "get it", "write it down" and "deal with it." ??? Hmm.
3. FYI, I don't really care enough about any of "Bitsi's fans" -- and only bothered to respond now because I am bored.
My point is that the CW renewed a show after the FIRST Episode. Yours truly watched and then promptly removed this from DVR. Hence, I may be counted in those initial ratings, but there won't be a second or later viewing from here. It doesn't seem to be the best idea to renew a second season already without a least a FEW episodes under the belt.
In my opinion, they need to replace Lois. Elizabeth Tulloch was so bad in Grimm, at the end, her role was totally emotionally devoid. It was a job she acted with some adequacy.
Happy viewing to all, even @Love_Teaxs! :-)

Words cant describe how little i care about this one... i am an Arrowverse fan, but i have ZERO interest. With no Who or Marvel, my fantasy fandom is now down to two shows now: Flash and Legends... Guess i can still hope for a Green Lantern spin-off, but im not holding my breath...

This is just as bad as it sounds. And they have already renewed for another season I just don't understand these decisions. Good shows with a decent following shot down after just a couple episodes and this turkey sails thru. Must be drugs.
