The animated comedy is coming back in 2023.
February 9, 2022
Hulu is bringing back Futurama. The streaming service announced today that 20 new episodes of the animated sci-fi comedy have been ordered for a return in 2023 for what will be its 8th overall season and third network.
The series began back in 1999 and only ended up airing seven seasons through 2013. It started out on Fox, lasting four years before getting the axe due to low ratings. Adult Swim picked up the rights to air reruns, which did well on the network, prompting a re-launch in 2007 with four direct-to-DVD movies. Comedy Central then aired the movies broken down into episodes, eventually deciding to order seasons 6 & 7.
Futurama revolves around the Planet Express interplanetary delivery company and its employees, a small group that largely fails to conform to future society. Philip J. Fry is a New York City pizza delivery boy who was unwittingly cryogenically frozen for one thousand years. Now, in the retro-futuristic 31st century, he finds himself working at Planet Express.

some of you think your opinion is the only one out there. I would say that lots of Futurama fans are glad it's back and many probably liked most eps. I like them all including the movies. But just like star wars or star trek some fans just find fault as much as possible. Omg, Moonfall is a silly movie but it's a blast. If I analyzed that film in detail I would have not liked it. Just be glad we get 20 more eps. Motherland fort salem gets only ten more and that show is really awesome and different. Or the really top notch netlix lost in space that got three seasons only. of course that ensured top quality having a short run but I want more. So it's sort of a miracle for a long cancelled show to come back ever. Will and grace did it for a season, rossanne did it and got personally cancelled but her show is still on and a a hit. So this is beyond rare in tv history and yes most tv shows have some great eps and some fillers if they last long enough. so what. glad it's still on.

The show ended. I could watch more eps but the show ended. It's just keeps getting more and more water down. The movies were too time much for a single story. The revivle didn't add much but lost the flavor of the original. More is going to be one or two decent eps and then filler.
Don't feed the "woke" trolls. They think leave it to beaver was leftist because it had free and fair high school elections.

It'll be great to see it again as long as they keep it the way it was.

Love it. Hulu pays for it, so you pay for it. I did not think this show had a bad ep. It is a cartoon after all.

Keep it dead.
It fell off a cliff and became terrible starting with the movies.
