Hulu extends the animated series through Season 14.

Hulu announced today that Futurama has been renewed for Seasons 13 and 14. The early two-season pickup will give the animated sci-fi comedy a total of 20 additional episodes. The streamer revived the beloved series in 2022, with Season 11 premiering this past July. The season has garnered a positive reception from critics and viewers, and was on Nielsen's Top 10 Original Series List for six of the weeks during its run. Season 12 is expected to debut sometime in 2024.
The series has a long history dating back to 1999. It got its start on Fox, lasting four years before getting cancelled due to low ratings. Adult Swim picked up the rights to air reruns, which did so well on the network that they re-launched the show in 2007 with four direct-to-DVD movies. Comedy Central then aired the movies broken down into episodes, eventually deciding to order two additional seasons of its own. The show was cancelled again in 2013. Now 10 years later, the series has found a new streaming home in Hulu.
Futurama revolves around the Planet Express interplanetary delivery company and its employees, a small group that largely fails to conform to future society. Philip J. Fry is a New York City pizza delivery boy who was unwittingly cryogenically frozen for one thousand years. Now, in the retro-futuristic 31st century, he finds himself working at Planet Express.

Yeah, it seems to run out of steam after awhile but the world marches on and provides fresh material for it to satirize. Over the years it has often been a small bright spot in my week.
Long live Futurama!
I gave this season a full viewing. What was impressive was that it did a very good job of doing timely and relevant jokes and reflects the modern day. And I found three of the ten episodes absolutely worth re-watching.
But two more seasons??? Go out on a high note. This show only works in bursts. It never sustains. However, they did cameo hypno-toad... so we all might be hosed.
Kill this show already please.
