No Season 2 for the anthology series.

It is being reported that The First Lady has been cancelled by Showtime after just one season. The news comes less than two months after the drama wrapped its 10-episode freshman run, which ultimately received a mixed critical reception.
The series was meant to be an anthology, with each season exploring the personal and political lives of women at the heart of the White House. Season 1 focused on the lives of Michelle Obama, Betty Ford, and Eleanor Roosevelt - from their journeys to Washington, family life, and important political contributions.

It was cancelled because the only good FLOTUS was Eleanor. The other two no one cares about.

A strong female cast, and it gets cancelled. Why showtime? This was a good show.

bring it back, this was "within reason" good. Some portions of the plot were pure fiction, but the rest was really good. More please, uncancell this!!
