HBO has officially ordered a new season of the comedy.

HBO announced today that Curb Your Enthusiasm has been renewed for Season 12. The move is more a formality, as back in April creator Larry David said that a 12th season was on the way when asked about it during an Emmys event.
The long-running series premiered in 2000 and became a huge hit for HBO over the decade that followed. Each season garners critical acclaim and the show has amassed dozens of awards. Its release schedule has slowed in recent years though, as only four seasons have been produced since 2009. The show's 11th season aired in late 2021, concluding last December.
Shot without a script, Curb Your Enthusiasm stars David as an over-the-top version of himself navigating daily life in Los Angeles along with his now ex-wife and manager. The improvised nature of the show and its focus on trivial details like restaurant seating, a missing toothbrush, or a cold cup of coffee continues to endear it to fans who keep coming back for more.
