Netflix announced today that The Witcher has been renewed for a fourth season. The pickup is another early one for the fantasy drama, which is not slated to return for Season 3 until the summer of 2023.

Best known for the popular series of video games, The Witcher originated as a series of novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. The TV show follows a monster hunter by the name of Geralt of Rivia, who is struggling to find his place in a world where people are often more wicked than beasts. When destiny unites him with a powerful sorceress and a young princess, the three must work to navigate the volatile Continent together.

While Season 4 of The Witcher is still quite some time away, we found out today that Liam Hemsworth will be replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt after three seasons.

"As a Witcher fan I'm over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia," said Hemsworth in a statement. "Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I'm honoured that he's handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf's blades for the next chapter of his adventure. Henry, I've been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have some big boots to fill, but I'm truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world."
