No Season 2 for the streaming comedy.

It is being reported that Uncoupled has been cancelled by Netflix after one season. The news comes five months after the comedy released its 8-episode freshman run, garnering a generally positive reception from critics and viewers.
The half-hour series stars Neil Patrick Harris as Michael, a married man from Manhattan who had the perfect life until his partner of 17 years unexpectedly walked out on him. Suddenly, Michael finds himself facing two nightmare scenarios - losing his soulmate and being a single gay man in his mid-40s.

This one surprised me. I did not watch the show. As cisgender normative, my viewing time has to be reserved for fun shows. Not for awareness. This surprises me because NPH is phenomenal. I thought 'even a boring whatever, modeled after dads with kids' would have gotten some of the NPH/Barney glow.
Turns out you can't make a normal alphabet or hyperbole alphabet show and expect results. Does that mean non-hetero has crossed the wall? You can make boring sitcoms and get cancelled without woke police?

“Netflix screws us again”…….How dare Netflix cancel shows that didn’t capture enough views to make it worth while. Pout, whine and throw a hissy fit………

This is really disappointing... Absolutely loved this show, NPH was awesome as was the rest of the cast... Netflix screws us again...

Surprised. For a show mainly about gay people, it was surprisingly non-woke. I actually enjoyed it a lot.

Loved this series but Netflix again chooses to air trash like the Prince Harry nonsense over fun lighthearted entertainment like this show.

I adored this show and was so excited to see what the next season would hold. It was so well done, I am beyond let down by Netflix, yet again!!
