The network has ordered a second season of the comedy.
February 10, 2023
It is being reported by Deadline that Showtime has picked up Uncoupled for a second season. The news comes less than a month after the comedy was cancelled by Netflix. The show premiered last summer with an 8-episode run that garnered a generally positive reception from critics and viewers.
The half-hour series stars Neil Patrick Harris as Michael, a married man from Manhattan who had the perfect life until his partner of 17 years unexpectedly walked out on him. Suddenly, Michael finds himself facing two nightmare scenarios - losing his soulmate and being a single gay man in his mid-40s.

That's good news. I put off watching it on Netflix, because of the cancellation. Now, I will indulge in the show, and look forward to season 2 on Showtime.

Good news! As I said in the cancellation article, the show is surprisingly not woke or agenda driven. Just a show about gay people living their lives. Funny and easy to watch. Hopefully it sticks to that format on the new network.

This is the type of show that can be picked up by another network and continued. It doesn't have massive, hard to reproduce sci fi sets, overly ,elsewhere committed actors/actresses, and it was picked up quickly.
@Jay
Does this show need to be continued cause it was good? Or are you wanting it just because of the cliffhanger?

Excellent news. Really like this show. Definitely needs to be carried on after the cliffhanger ending. Just hope we get to see it in the UK on Paramount+ or something.
