Netflix announced today that Cobra Kai has been renewed for Season 6, which will be its last. The news was accompanied by a teaser trailer along with a heartfelt message to fans from creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, promising the show's final season will be its biggest yet.
The half-hour series premiered in 2018 on YouTube Premium, where it quickly became one of its strongest-performing originals. But its time there was limited, as the platform moved away from scripted fare after two seasons. Netflix saw a golden opportunity and stepped in for Season 3, and the move has more than paid off, as Cobra Kai has become one of its most-popular shows.
Serving as a follow-up to 'The Karate Kid' film series, Cobra Kai is set 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. Still haunted by his past, Johnny Lawrence looks for redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. But his old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso is reignited when their lives become intertwined with the up-and-coming generation of karate kids.

And i will work on creating sentences with endpoints. Ones not requiring space bar. I do like to save Kb space and text storage, realms.

Heck yes. Enough time for the black belts to wear out their belts and become white again.
This show was just fantastic fun. And like it or not, there was significant boobage. Two places you try not to punch in a dojo.
Hopefully they fit in a few more cameos and throwbacks.
Having this much closure with those two actors has been flippin awesome.
And, in the text written word I am not being sarcastic. This one rocks and I'm glad it has bookends.

As much as I hate to see it go, at least it’s getting the opportunity to tell the full story, and going out before the quality suffers.

Sad that it's ending but happy that it got 6 seasons and will have a proper conclusion! It's really a great show.
