Why??!? Really, why?
One of the best shows on tv. Such great acting. How can this be canceled and so many ill written programs continue? Coukd it be that it focused on real issues? Because it depicted what TRUE journalism looks like?

I cannot believe Alaska Daily is being canceled. The show was well written with outstanding actors. The scripts covered important, timely issues. It was refreshing to see actual Native Americans portrayed in authentic dress and environments. Would have been important to continue the series to learn more about the culture and issues of the indigenuous people of Alaska.I wish ABC would air it over the summer to enable more viewers to see the series and the gorgeous cinematography. Now many of us will be short changed again when it comes to quality TV that provides authentic coverage of indigenous peoples of Alaska. I am very disappointed in ABC. Wish another network would pick it up.

Once again they have cancelled one of my favorite shows and then on top of that disappointment they canceled East New York.
No wonder we watch more and more streaming shows they seem to last longer

Yeah, its not a bad series in any way, but the constant shifting of dates and the irregular schedule gave me the impression it was bound for cancellation. Its a nuanced series about journalists and political extremism and cancel culture, probably why no one watched it.

Noooooooooooooo. A series that does not have steamy sex or violence but interesting characters and a good storyline and a good cast.

I didn't watch this but my cousin loved it and is so pissed at ABC. She said she should have known as everything she has liked on ABC has been cancelled.(except GH)

Unbelievable...East NY..NOW THIS??.WTF IS GOING ON???. This show was different...real...and very well written!.
What is the actual reason for canceling this??
All these stupid reality shows being renewed...and Dick wolf seems to get every damned one of his renewed...I just don't get it

Cancellation of Alaska Daily is a big disappointment! It’s the only series with storylines centered on a believable newsroom and it’s machinations.

Another great show gets canceled. Too bad as it was bringing awareness to the unfair issue of the disappearance of indigenous women being ignored.

Another great show that had drama and anchor in real life situations. I am sad to see this show end, with great writing and actors. The story line could've carried on for another 3 seasons maybe more. We are stuck with reality crap,news and weather. Yay. ABC and CBS should look at who is telling them these numbers.
