Paramount+ wants more of the Jeremy Renner drama.
September 6, 2023
Paramount+ announced today that Mayor of Kingstown has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes six months after the drama wrapped its 10-episode sophomore run. The new season will see the return of Jeremy Renner, who has spent recent months recovering from a January snowplow accident that broke 30 bones in his body.
Created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series follows the McLusky family, who are power brokers in the business of incarceration, running for-profit prisons in Kingstown, Michigan. It is the only thriving industry in a town with a history of systemic racism, inequality, and corruption. Together they attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

It’s a great series and happy both YOU and the show are returning.
All the best

Order and justice? Really??
Maybe not.
The only racism built in to "the system" was Affirmative Action (good riddance).
We're only CREATED equal. After being a zygote, we're all different.
I guess I'm going to have to give this a try.
